Hey everyone, I hope you’ve all had a wonderful week and
even if it was not what you expected we keep grinding! Before we begin I would
like you all to appreciate my dear friend who took this picture, I mean see me
looking like a model.
So I wanted to share my views on what it means to live your
best life, and to be honest with you my views on this has changed over the
years. I remember for the longest time I believed that living your best life
was doing what you wanted to do when you wanted to do it, basically just doing
what you felt like.
I carried this ideology for years till after listening and
reading a lot of things I came to understand that living your best life is in
actual sense living selflessly. If I believed that living your best life is
just doing what makes you happy no matter what it is, then I would be saying
that as long as something makes you happy even if it’s one of the most terrible
things you should do it regardless.
My perfect example of someone who lived his best life but at
the same time lived it selflessly is Jesus. He did the best things and had the
best time but at the same time was working to save humanity. A lot of
celebrities and people that we look up to engage in selfless acts because I
don’t think there’s any greater joy than actually knowing that you genuinely
did something nice for someone, it does not even matter if you’re appreciated
or not but there is always a feeling of relevance and how else do you want to
live your best life if not staying relevant? I really hope we think about this.
Thanks for stopping by and don’t forget to live your best
life! Till next time
My name is Toyosi Adeniran (actually “Adeniran Ifeoluwatoyosi Abigail” which is quite long lol ) and just call me “TheToyosiAdeniran” because I feel like the ‘the’ gives it this catch and makes it seem like it’s just one name. You know the way some people say they are something by day and another thing by night, well I am a medical student everyday (both day and night). I am also an aspiring public speaker and very passionate about people knowing their rights and having those rights protected. And above all, I am a Christian and my faith is very important to me.
