SEMESTER DUMP!

Hello hello helloooooooooooo, how do you all do? Yes, I am “screaming internally” because the semester is over! Seriously, na only me (and some of my classmates sha) know wetin my eyes don see this semester. Intercalated year is the chill year, they said but I am not offended.

This semester tested me a lot. A lot of the things I thought I was good at or that I already had figured out were looking strange and I actually realized that I might not have been as good as I thought. To put it in another way, I had to increase my threshold in a lot of areas.

Asides from school work, extracurricular kicked my ass! I will not say that leadership is hard, but it is not easy. Everything was really new for me, and at some point I was beginning to lose so much of my essence in all of my work. I had to re-evaluate a lot of my decisions and learn how to properly prioritize. It also showed me how important to have a good team (reliable people in your corner- Tope leave me) because you actually cannot do it all by yourself.

I have always learnt about how important it is to grow your network and in theory I actually did understand. This semester, I saw how important it is to have a solid social circle. I made a lot of new friends this semester and I must say that there are actually top tier people around (we have established that my old friends are top tier people too). A lot of my people stepped into fuller roles this semester and I must say, it made me feel so wholesome- so keep being the big boys and girls that you are!

I am trying to include as many pictures as I can because asides from the fact that my department was and is still after my life, I had a great semester. Second semester starts in a week, and I know Jesus will intervene! Most of the colourful events take place next semester and I hope to be able to write as much as I can as they happen.
