Some Thoughts

Hello there!

This is not a long post. They moved my examinations, again. I do not feel any extraordinary way about it to be honest because I do not exert any control over the decision that has been made. It really is what it is.

My friend told me told me today that he was proud of me recently, it made me happy. It was a reminder of how there is a constant need to affirm and find proper means to express your love to the people that you prioritize.

This post contains my discordant thoughts, I think I am trying to share a couple of the epiphanies that I have had of late.

I learnt how proper communication is one of the most important tools for surviving adulthood. It helps to understand varying perspectives and it also helps to absolve people of blame.

Also, I became an aunty about two weeks ago! I am so attached already and it is one of the most undiluted forms of love I have felt in a while. It is such a wholesome feeling.

School is trying to show me pepper but I refuse to be perturbed- and I hope you feel the same way too. Thank you for having a read, I hope you have a week filled with a ton of happy feelings! My friend Morountodun who is absolutely great at writing and speaking is going to host a class next week on “the fundamentals of writing”  and I think you should be a part it, I mean who does not want to write better English?

Registration will close on the 10th of September by 11:00 pm, and you can find out more details from the poster and link I have attached below.

My name is Toyosi Adeniran (actually “Adeniran Ifeoluwatoyosi Abigail” which is quite long lol ) and just call me “TheToyosiAdeniran” because I feel like the ‘the’ gives it this catch and makes it seem like it’s just one name. You know the way some people say they are something by day and another thing by night, well I am a medical student everyday (both day and night). I am also an aspiring public speaker and very passionate about people knowing their rights and having those rights protected. And above all, I am a Christian and my faith is very important to me.
